Laser operation of endometriosis

Description: The operation starts with a thorough close-up inspection of the internal genital organs. We can identify numerous white, red and brown foci of endometriosis both in front of and behind the uterus.

Those foci are emigrated islands of the uterine lining that participate in the menstrual cycle and produce menstrual blood and other degradation products which cannot be eliminated the natural way. The result is a focus of irritation that hurts and/or impairs fertility.

In the second part of the clip, the foci of endometriosis are being vaporized by CO2 laser beam, which does little harm to the surrounding healthy tissue. According to the individual situation of the patient, a medical treatment of two to three months will follow.
